Critic's Corner

I would have to agree with Mr.Quinet that everyday incidents can be poetic. Everything in our day could be potential poems because of our feeling towards them; whether it is eatting a plum, argueing with a friend, or just falling down on the ground.

If you have the creativity you could turn the simple process of going asleep and waking up into a poem. Life itself is poetic so I find it very difficult to not see that the everyday incidents of it to be the same. What makes something poetic is the strong metaphysical hold it has on your psyche, whether it's a good feeling, relaxing, or heart break.

I find the simple task of breathing very poetic because of the way my chest expand to such a vast proud mound when I gently inhale and slowly shimmer down to the petite statue that is myself. Every incident in life affects you emotionslly and physically they all tie in to make up who you are and how you react. What you is a reflection of you and that's why it is poetic.
